The Trilogy is also coming to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Sweet! Crash Bandicoot was the first game I ever personally owned. I haven't had any form of PlayStation for almost a decade so this could be great trip down nostalgia street.

Wow, it's cheaper to buy it on the Switch, even with the "Nintendo Tax"

I was laughing at the price, which is a joke. Come on, £35 for some rehashed games? really?
I paid £25 for Crysis on launch. As for being negative? the game was crap, is crap, and always will be crap. Mario 64 wiped the floor with it and is one of the best games ever made and IMO the best platformer ever made. That's not being negative that is A. Thinking £35 is a rip off and B. Praising the game that really did make history, so a preference if you will

You are wrong in saying that it is a Mario 64 imposter, both games released in the same year and go about the whole 3D platformer thing in a completely different way. Mario is a full 3D world whereas Crash is a more traditional platformer which has a lot more in common with its 2D predecessors.
I agree that the price is a little steep, but the game is a lot more than a "rehash", very few remasters are made to such a high quality.
If you want to call something a Rehash, look at some of the PS2 re-releases on PS4, The Jak and Dexter collection only got a resolution bump and no new assets or even high res textures (Technically making it a downgrade from the PS3 remaster in a sense).

I don't think that's too much for a remastered piece of my childhood.

Yeah, in that it's linear. Just my opinion. Quite simply - racing games PSX 1 N64 0. Platform games? evened it out a little.

You'll have to forgive me for being rather cynical. You see, when a game comes out and you pay £x I don't expect to pay the same price or more for the same game all over again. Which seems to be becoming a trend now. It's almost as if the developers are saying "Look, we really CBA writing new and better games so let us just put some new graphics on this one you've played already and £35 thx m8 gr8".
Which isn't really washing with me. I know the publishers are all about "Less is more !" but it's actually becoming very apparent just where their priorities and greed lie.

Pricing is something that will always come down to personal taste. I want to replay the old crash games, but this price isn't an "I'm buying this right now" kinda price.
I'm loving all the effort that has gone into this remaster, have been very tempted to get this on the PS4.

The price is okay for me. I'm willing to pay that much for Crash as I always liked it more than Mario 64. Thing is: With a new Super Smash Bros. coming later this year AND Crash coming to Switch, I'm considering not buying Crash for PC, but getting a Switch with both games. I might have to wait and see if Crash on Switch has some performance issues or graphical downgrades though.
